About Us

The Sierra Gold Quilters Guild was founded in 1982. We  have 90 members and welcome all levels of quilters. The purpose of our organization is to promote the art of quilting in a warm and friendly environment. If you are new to the area, or just passing through, please call and join us!

Throughout the year the guild provides opportunities for members to learn a wide variety of techniques and we encourage high standards of design, techniques and personal achievement among our members. Monthly meetings and workshops are held to accomplish these goals.

Community Service is an important part of our guild activities. We provide quilts, Chemo Caps and Christmas Stockings to the many emergency service agencies that service our community.

Our next bi-annual quilt show will be held at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth. The quilt show will be October 4th & 5th, 2019.
