Sierra Gold Quilter’s Guild members make quilts and other items for the community. Members can pick up fabric and batting for these items at the Community Quilt Table during Guild meeting. We provide all that is needed. Items include baby to adult quilts, clothing protectors, walker bags, dog beds, Christmas stockings, mug rugs and chemo caps. As items are finished and turned in, a committee decides where to donate them. We know that wherever they end up, they will be cherished for years to come.
A Community Quilt Workshop is organized once or twice a year where members come together to learn a new technique or block to make into new Community Quilts.
We have a repertoire of easy and fun patterns as well as already cut squares that can be put together quickly. And for more inspiration, check out the Guild Library!
